Question: hi, I have a 92-93 205 1100, when I pull the choke out it feels really stiff and when I push it back the warning light stays on, what could this be? Also it is spurting water out of the exhaust, do you know what this could be? the car has a bit of carbon build up but nothing excessive. thanks.
Answer: Hi.. The choke probably needs a new cable assembly. If you aren't losing coolant, I wouldn't worry about water out the tailpipe, especially from cold.

Question: Hi again, just curious about the Dodge Charger flywheel figure of 330bhp, what do you allow for losses (ie wheel bhp)? The reason I ask is my totally stock 37yr old 351 Cleveland 2-barrel made 180bhp at the wheels in a Torino, but with a 268 cam, oz quench heads (11:1) and edelbrock four barrel which I have bought for it I am expecting 330 flywheel bhp! In terms of what a Charger is like to drive do you mean double bed steered by elastic bands? Thanks, Mark
Answer: Hi Mark -The Cleveland is the one to have! Much sought after for its durability. These engines love a higher compression ratio, and better flowing heads with a decent cam should give more like 350 bhp. A good investment would be an MSD distributor, as the ignition timing will be critical at 11 to 1. Likewise the Edelbrock would benefit from being set up really well. Do you have a rolling road set up nearby that can handle these? I'd normally say around 50 bhp transmission loss is reasonable on a Yank. Driving the Charger is an event! I'd say a water bed to be precise, but they can be improved upon if sorted. The one we have here should be ready to go back to the owner next week.

Question: Hi I\'ve been wanting to get my JDM Forester S/tb Auto remapped so it will run on UK Shell V power fuel without the need of adding an octane booster and I also would like to fit a decat exhaust. I\'ve been looking at the Apexi Power FC, but have been told they are not compatible with the Auto box ECU and will change gear on full throttle, thus causing damage to the Auto box?. Any advice would be much appreciated. Kindest regards Marcus.
Answer: Hi Marcus- We've found autos very difficult to deal with, and haven't found anyone else who likes them either! I would have thought the car could deal with UK fuel in any event. It's a question of being able to detect knock levels. What year is the car?
