Question:
I have a Delta Intergrale which has a bad smoking problem when you let off the throttle. I have had the head checked out and it is all ok as are the ring and bores. The only thing I can think of is the turbo. I have been running it on a three stage boost which goes up to 27psi on full. Could you please help em with any ideas. |

Answer:
It sounds very much like a duff Turbo, sucking up oil on the overrun. 27 psi is very high boost for a standard turbo. I can only recommend that you replace it with a hybrid. As you probably know, Turbo Technics were the originators of the hybrid system, and are still the best bet for a turbo of the correct spec. If you need any further gen on it, let me know. As a Turbo Technics dealer I can supply a turbo....with discount! |
