Question: I just wondered if you could tell me what the next stage of mods would be on my car and the likely cost for you to do it. The car is a 2000 X reg Classic Turbo which already has a full exhaust system which i understand is 3\" from the downpipe (turbo?)back,uprated fuel pump,decat,Green Panel Filter and Ecutek remap which is apparently all good for approx 270bhp?
Answer: Hi Paul - it's all up to you and your budget! we can undertake anything from a larger turbo up to a full engine build and beyond. If you can give me an idea of the sort of power output you'd like, or how much you'd like to invest in the car, I'll see what we can come up with.

Question: Alan I have almost reached my limits with power, about 410 with aps fmic,aps intake in wing, aps sr40 turbo, standard sti engine/6 speed. I have read about your 2.1 conv and as I am from sussex would want a drive in/out price to get at least 450/450 with a new clutch and turbo as this power will be beyond it. Can you give me a price/power/how long you can turn the car around (whilst I have a holiday down near you!) thanks
Answer: Hi Tim - Drive in drive out is 4150 inc vat. This is a full conversion and includes forged rods and pistons, a new crank, overhauled heads, Cosworth bearings, head gaskets and sump baffle. All work is carried out under our roof and includes an engine bay clean up and painted engine assembly. We even carry out the first 50 miles of running in! We would need a few weeks, so would offer you a courtesy car free for that period. Please feel free to call for a chat. 01752 345880.

Question: Hi, I have a 2007 MK5 Golf GTi which I have remapped last year along with the fitting of a drop in sports filter (as the car was still under warranty!) I was told of the BHP increase but would like to get an accurate BHP/Torque figure. How much do you charge for this and what does it entail? I have heard a few horror stories of cars having the tits raked out of it on a rolling road (not by yourselves though!) Thanks, Glyn
Answer: Hi Glyn Having been dyno testing cars for over 30 years now, I can say quite safely that your car won't be damaged by testing it. We charge 50 plus vat (58.75) and give dyno print outs for power, torque and air/fuel ratio. 01752 345880 to book!

Question: thanks for the info. and i will b coming 2 c u very soon 2 do the work. how long would it take 2 do the work as wel? this comment is for my m8 tho. hes got a 1999 classic wich we don a track day in and the car hasn't be right since it lost all boost so when we got home we cleaned the boost solonoid thand didnt solve it so we removed the turbo thinking the shaft that had broken but that was fine. then somehow the boost returned but now it has a like a misfire in every gear between 3500 - 4500rpm and we r stumped 2 wot the problem is any help would b great. thanks jonathan
Answer: It needs to go on a dyno for testing, it's what it's all about! We can pick up so much with just a simple roller test. An engine build takes around 4 weeks at present.

Question: Ok, I don\'t no what boost its running, how much would you charge to look and cure?
Answer: A dyno test is 70.50 inc vat. Of course I can't promise a price to cure it until I've had a look!
