As the old saying goes, when life gives you lemons, you hope its a super lemon!Perhaps the most iconic car to ever grace our dyno, the JUN Super Lemon RII was brought to us at Enginetuner following an extensive restoration by the fabulous team at SMD (Southern Motor Developments).

It arrived to have its new Link G4x ECU mapped including setting up the clutchless gear changes on the Hollinger sequential dogbox. With Martyn on mapping duties we saw 820bhp on pump fuel before we ran into transmission issues.

The car is back with the guys at SMD who will remedy the transmission issues before it returns to ourselves for final mapping and then shipped off to the guys at Harlow Jap Autos (HJA).

Eagle-eyed enthusiasts may spot the car is running a completely new engine/turbo setup compared to its first incarnation. Let us know in the comments what you think the final BHP will be when it returns!
