Enginetuner Drive Out
Last Sunday played host to our first Enginetuner Drive Out since our recent Enginetuner Drivers Club trip to the Nurburgring.
Slapton Sands was the destination, so an early start beckoned ensuring traffic free roads and a prime seafront location for some photos.
A 7am meet at Enginetuner gave us enough time for everyone to introduce themselves to one another before heading off in a cacophony of turbo charged motors.
The convoy meandered its way through South Devon enjoying some fast flowing B roads, although it was actually the A379 before arriving at an empty Slapton Sands carpark, winner! We quickly fire off some static shots making the most of the view before the holiday makers arrived. With the static shots complete, there was just enough time to capture some tracking shots, it turns out Slapton is popular within the jogging community. Joggers avoided and tracking shots banked, it’s not long before the belly rumbles set in and food became the primary objective.
I am not saying Bobby Spray was the hungriest but before you could say bacon bap (or salad sandwich for the veggies) a plan was set and the convoy was back on the road again to beautiful Dartmouth. With Lady Luck shining down on us, we managed to secure parking right in the centre, with only a short walk to grab some brekkie.
Breakfast consumed, it was time to say our goodbyes as the convoy dispersed with the drivers making their way home. A great time was had by all and we look forward to the next one.
If you want to get involved in future events with Enginetuner, ensure you keep an eye across our social channels, or better still, sign up to the Enginetuner Drivers Club via the website and be the first to be notified of all the great things we have planned!
